The First Year Connection is a mandatory student orientation that all new students are required to attend in order to ease the transition to South Texas College. During the orientation you will learn about resources and services available to students and meet college staff regarding campus life, tutoring, financial aid and more…

Studies conducted at South Texas College prove that students who attend orientation are more likely to be successful and earn higher grades. For this reason all new students are required to attend orientation prior to the beginning of the fall semester. We look forward to meeting and assisting you in achieving your educational goals!
